Darren Furnell (a LITE course student from 2011) is doing the Bristol 10K with Love Running (http://www.loverunning.org/). Love Running is a Woodlands church initiative. This will be a great challenge for Darren so please sponsor him and in doing so raise money for the Crisis Centre and other great charities. People: Who runs the course?
The course is run by STUART LEITCH. Stuart has had years of experience working with individuals sufferng from addiction and has been involved in life-skills education through his previous work as a minister.
We also have volunteers helping on the course. Their role is to work alongside students to help them with their work and to offer personal support and a friendly face to talk to.
SOPHY WESTENDARP works with Stuart on Mondays. She is repsonsible for liaising with
outside agencies and supporting students in finding courses and work (voluntary or
paid) on completion of the LITE course. She is also involved with the Women's Group on
Friday morning and with Life Recovery Group on Friday evenings.

Some of our students attend the Life Recovery Group which meets every Friday and also provides mentoring support.
