About the Work
Three Main Areas
At present, our work is mainly concentrated in three related areas.
- The first point of contact for most people is the Wild Goose coffee shop, where people can come in off the street, receive a hot meal and drink, and find someone to talk with.
- The LITE Course is a training programme designed to help the long term unemployed gain the practical skills, habits and attitudes which they will need in order to gain - and keep - employment.
- In the Bridgehead Church we aim to provide our customers with an experience of Christian worship and teaching which is accessible to to them on a cultural level, which is spiritually powerful, and which helps prepare them to start to become integrated in to more traditional churches where they can receive the long term pastoral care and discipleship they need.
