One area where we are comparatively weak is in the recording and statistical analysis of our contact with the clients we serve.
Our aim is to record each 'significant point of contact' with a client. But what counts as significant?
We fail to record many significant conversations. We are not in a position to record many conversations that take place through or as a result of our work. And many points of contact don't fit any pattern, as when a dozen people turn up for a Saturday to clean and help decorate someone's flat.
But these are the records we have, for what they are worth.
