Training
Introduction
Training has been one of our core activities for a long time. Most of our 'front-line' work is done by volunteers, so it is even more important that we do our best to ensure that all the volunteers are trained and supported as fully as possible.
As well as training our own volunteers, we also train volunters from churches and other projects in Bristol, and sometimes people come from the statutory services in Bristol or elsewhere.
Details of our training programme can be found on the BCAN web site. Helping Vulnerable People runs each year as ten sessions, on roughly a monthly basis. One of the ten sessions, Share Your Faith is also promoted as a stand-alone evangelism training course.
