I started LITE after my second mental health breakdown and one of the support workers from my supported house suggested that I come on the LITE course. At first I didn't want to join it, but I had pushed away a lot of opportunities so I agreed to try it. I felt very nervous at first, but when I took the first step which was the biggest, I started to relax into the course. The other students were really nice and the course leader Stuart was very kind and really willing to listen. As the course progressed, my life started to change in a big way from sticking with LITE and being able to share my life experiences with others to starting dialectical behaviour therapy.
