East Bristol Foodbank Deputy Manager (Maternity Cover)
Crisis Centre Ministries is a Christian charity that has been working in Bristol for over 30 years. We are dedicated to helping those with life disrupting problems, such as homelessness and addiction, to find a healthy and independent life.
We are now looking to appoint a Deputy Manager to join our East Bristol Foodbank team to provide cover during maternity leave. 
Reporting to the East Bristol Foodbank Manager the successful candidate will help to lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the Foodbank outlets. This will involve overseeing the collection and distribution of non-perishable foods to each outlet and the engagement with clients as they collect food parcels. Leadership of volunteer teams is a key aspect of this role.
Additionally, the East Bristol Foodbank is developing its ‘More Than Food’ services and the job holder will be involved in developing and integrating these.
  • Salary – Deputy Manager Scale which starts at £21,000 PA, paid on a pro rata basis.
  • Part-Time, 16 hours/week. The work pattern is arranged in line with Foodbank outlet opening times and in general terms is Monday 1/2 day, Wednesday 1/2 day, Friday full day.
  • The contract term will be for up to 12 months, subject to the Maternity Leave of the current job holder.
