CCM Advent Prayer Calendar

A time of hope

The approach of Christmas for a homeless person can be isolation for a homeless person. Here at CCM we won't be ignoring the season because the birth of our saviour is a message of hope which can transform lives. So as staff and volunteers work together to bring light in the darkness, will you play your part as one of our prayer support team?

We've assembled a CCM Advent Calendar to help you. It is an outline to enable you to pray each day through December. Just as the good news came first to those outside looking after the sheep, so we ask God that He will do it again on the streets of Bristol.
"The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness a light will shine." (Isaiah 9:2)
Dark and cold on the outside, without hope on the inside. As we start Advent, please pray for those without homes who make our premises their temporary shelter.

His government and its peace will never end." (Isaiah 9:6).
Prayers are especially needed for this period as many find it really hard. Hospitality is really important. Some clients will spend time together with friends if they don’t have family .
Sun Dec 17 - Thank God for all the gifts donated by Bristol residents this year. Remember those who regularly visit Crisis Centre Ministries bearing gifts.

Sun Christmas Eve - Caring at Christmas will open its doors at 3pm. The Spring of Hope will also be open tonight and all through Christmas.
"The shepherds went back to their flocks, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen. It was just as the angel had told them." (Luke 2:20)
