Transforming lives through offering food, shelter, hope and support to the most vulnerable in our community

Current volunteering gaps

Spring of Hope women's night shelter – Female Volunteers, all evenings except Saturday
We welcome women who wish to volunteer at our women-only night shelter, particularly those with a view to becoming a Duty Manager on a night shift. Training is provided by our experienced staff team. Please contact Steve (details below) if you'd like to know more.
Wild Goose drop-in centre – Evening Duty Manager
We're looking for a Duty Manager to run an evening shift once a month. We ask that Duty Managers have experience as a regular evening volunteer, so if you're already volunteering and want to step up, please get in touch.
Wild Goose drop-in centre – Daytime Kitchen Volunteers, Weekdays 9am-5pm
We are looking for kitchen volunteers to prepare and serve food to service users, wash and clear up and help us put away food deliveries. Click here for more information about this role.
As a Christian charity, we expect our volunteers to identify themselves as Christians and to be linked with a local Christian community. There are many reasons for this, but the most significant is that our work is an expression of the Church in action within the community.
If you, or someone you know, are able to help with either of the above roles, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Steve Smith on the details below:
